If you've seen Batman: The Dark Knight, then you know it was a performance of a lifetime. Following his performance in Brokeback Mountain, you're left to wonder what great work would have come next. Unfortunately, we will never know and that saddens me.

Now, he is destined to be among the "what if" performers along with James Dean, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Kobain, Michael Hutchence, Bruce and Brandon Lee and countless others.

I can, honestly, say that there wasn't a movie of Ledger's that I saw and didn't like. He is definitely missed.
